Image by citymama I spent about $ 90 at the farmer's market this week, more than I usually spend, and it's because I bought beef and chicken. The beef vendor sells pastured chickens which I didn't realize until the season was almost over. I'm going to try this one and see how it is. If it's good, I might join their chicken CSA and can pick up my chicken at the farmer's market which is convenient. If you are interested in joining the chicken CSA, let me know. You only have to commit to one chicken a month during the season which is roughly April thru Nov/Dec (but be prepared to spend about $ 30 for it).
